Hello!
:( I've just installed the new Ubuntu 11.04 and encountered a strange problem. The Launcher bar appears, everything is ok, but i can see no icon on the Unity Launcher. When i move the mouse over the launcher, it tells me where the icons should be. The apps also open when I click in those places. But NO icon? Can anybody tell me why is this happening? It is very annoying. I would accept it easier if it didn't work at all.. but not this way. Please help me with a solution. I would be very happy to see this problem solved. Thank you in advance.

I believe it is related to this issue with the 173 driver and some nvidia cards - (don't think there is a solution as of yet other than to blacklist the cards
