Finally the first upgrade to Ubuntu that didn't break something on my slightly ancient Compaq laptop. Ever since I installed 8.10 I have always had something not work on an upgrade that caused me to pull my hair. Luckily I still have hair and even though the laptop is too old to run Unity everything else is working great.

My hat's off to the Ubuntu team on this upgrade. Thanks guys.

My own upgrade to Natty was SMOOTH, too! I think most folks had this experience.

So we help out the folks where things didn't go so good. I still find that 'clean installs' or Windows take more effort than 'Clean installs' of Ubuntu.

Upgrades - in ANY OS - well - you never know what was on the disk before that is now a 'rock beneath the water'. :D
