As the question - I spent days trying to figure out how to rescue a corrupted system using the install USB pendrive. Although "Rescue a broken system" is a menu option, when you select it, it dithers around trying to load up the CD-ROM drivers. Well my servers don't have CD-ROMS, otherwise I wouldn't have made the bootable USB drive !

Anyone ever found an answer to this ? Is it possible to repair a system off a USB drive or (as I ended up doing), is it a question of trashing the system and re-installing ?
