what sata drive?

Sata drive sda is windows 7. Sata drive sdb should be Ubuntu 11 install. On the install window I get some confusing listing of partitions. Looks like Windows 7 drive is split up, no list of drive sdb. Anyway the list is a mess, nothing like the straight forward window of the past. What's up here?
