View Full Version : [SOLVED] Upgrading Mythbuntu 10.10 to 11.04

One of my systems is running Mythbuntu 10.10 right now, and I got the prompt to upgrade to 11.04. So, my question is what is the best way to do the upgrade? My options are through the Upgrade Manager (which prompted me), downloading an iso from the mythbuntu site (which may mean I'll do a clean install--which I'm trying to avoid), or some other manner.

Will using the Update Manager automatically upgrade everything that I need (including Mythtv to 0.24)?

Thanks and have a great day:)
Patrick.

Read this. (http://www.techdrivein.com/2011/04/how-to-upgrade-to-ubuntu-1104-natty.html)I have to be honest and say that I didn't see that option during install(maybe because I don't have only Ubuntu). You can also try with upgrade via net.

I may have the same problem then. I have a dual-boot with Windows 7 and Mythbuntu running. So, I may have to just use the upgrade-manager, and go from there. But I'll try it this weekend.

Have a great day:)
