I was wondering if its possible to recover data from a Live-CD Persistence? I have Wolfer Linux 2 RC3 on a USB drive with persistence and I have data i want to recover on it, but for some reason its automatic login is failing now. It was working fine for a while then I don't bother with it for a while. I install natty on my hard drive using another USB drive and now I want to transfer the file onto my drive, however, as I said the automatic login has decided to fail now. It gets to the login screen but claims authentication has failed and I'm pretty sure I didn't set a password to it.

Nevermind, I just googled casper-rw which appears to be what the data is stored on and got this:

http://alexsleat.co.uk/2011/02/06/howto-mount-usb-persistent-casper-rw-file-in-linux/

Shows how to mount it. Which give me access to the file structure including meh data.
