10.10 - Black Screen Problem

Hello..

I have a problem whit my ubuntu 10.10. When i boot it then comes the purple BG and says Ubuntu 10.10, normally loads and then purple color goes aways and there comes the black screen and it stays there and it won't load anymore. It gets stuck there.

P.S. - It was working fine before updates!

And i use ATI Radeon.

I went there and the newest version won't start and it gets black screen, but the older version works. But even the old version has a bug... It lags and glitches real much and says in my right corner down Exsactly this:

AMD

Unsupported
Hardware

And i don't know what to do. (Install Drivers) doesn't work....

I found this code and it work, go to "older version" and then open up terminal and write in code and then it will configure itself so latest will work. And about the AMD Unsupported Hardware is just an ugly watermark that i have no idea how to get rid of (it is actually supported)



sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-x-swat/x-updates
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
