Any chance a Canadian can get Natty a half day early, seeing that Isle of Man/UK are 6 hours ahead and Ubuntu may be released there earlier than here?

Yep!

Get today's daily build (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/) and install it. Tomorrow, do an update:

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

There you go.

Thanks...I would if I wasn't running Lucid with a ton of PPAs installed. I'm going to do a fresh install to ensure a problem free night:D

Cool, thanks. I was looking for something just like this.
However...for future reference, does it release sooner in Europe?

Why is that not recommended at all? You do know that upgrades are tested a lot more than fresh installs and the recommended way to go from release to release is actually to upgrade right?

I had no issues doing an upgrade. Only issue on my end is dropbox icon doesn't appear but thats due to dropbox support of natty. But I will say it Unity is awesome and the classic desktop is faaaaster than gnome 2 from 10.10, not sure if thats due to better drivers or what though....
