First of all "Hi", I'm happy to be here. I'm new to ubuntu, well not exactly new, because I've been running ubuntu on virtual pc for a while and I must say that I had no problems switching from Windows to Ubuntu. It was fun and easy.
Now I want to install Ubuntu on my pc \dual boot with Windows\, but I have few questions:
When I install windows I always split the HDD to "C" and "D" so if my sistem crush my files in d would not fade away.
- I was thinking of making third disk lets say "B" with about 40 Gb and install Ubuntu on it... would that be wise? I'll be able to mount disk C and D and use them on my Ubuntu too, won't I ?
- If I install ubuntu on disk C with my Windows and for some reason my Ubuntu got ruined will that ruin my Windows too, or there is no such risk
- If in future i decide to install onely Ubuntu on my PC should I split my HDD for safety ?
Sorry for my bad english, I'm Bulgarian
Sorry i my post wasn't in the right place, I'm new here
