View Full Version : Themeable windows with GTK

Hi there,

I am using pyGTK and found out already how to make a window borderless or transparent. Now, I'd like to know how to make windows that are themeable, like the gnome-panel or Audacious for instance. Ideally I'd like to be able to apply some SVG to the application, but perhaps there is another way.

Any idea?

I've looked around and i've seen that GTK+ 3 now allows theming (http://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/3.0/theming.html)

Does anyone know more about this?
How can i find out which version of GTK is installed on my computer? How can i get the 3.* library? (GTK site is not reachable for me :( )
