View Full Version : [ubuntu] Need help - Ubuntu Instalation

My friend installed Ubuntu on a particion of 122gb from windows 7.
When he restart his laptop he selected Ubuntu to BOOT then he get like a black screen and a error!

Not very much info here to work with.... what is the error? what ubuntu release? you can always try to re-install. It could also be a bad .iso image, etc. Usually, Ubuntu boots right up after installing. Sometimes there are graphics driver issues that could produce a blank screen. Can you boot in "failsafe graphics mode"?
