TOU DO mean something. "Banning" use of the software on their website is totally justified.

They have a right to prevent someone from doing something preventing what they clearly stated in their Terms-of-Service (http://www.dropbox.com/terms) and was agreed to by the user.

If someone does not like their Terms-of-Service then don't use it.
