I remember that ayatana notifications were included in kubuntu 9.10, but in 10.10 and 11.04 I cant find the setting to enable them anywhere. Is there a package I need to install?

I have the full Unity desktop environment installed, but I dont see the significance. I want ayatana notifications in KUbuntu, not Ubuntu.
