Hi All,

Need help in setting up my email in ubuntu 10.10. Email server is MS exchange 2007.
Which client I should install? Let me know if any other info is required.

Thanks,
Aditya

I guess an appropriate choice for that is "Evolution", these guides may be handy:
http://library.gnome.org/users/evolution/stable/
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EvolutionExchange

Hope it helps!

Tried but it didn't work.
I think evolution doesn't support exchange 2007.

If IMAP is enabled on the Exchange server, most any client like Thunderbird or Evolution will work to some degree.

If the Exchange server supports web access, you can use that.

Have you tried running Outlook in WINE? Otherwise you might be stuck having to install Windows in a virtual machine.

Remember that Exchange, along with Active Directory, are Microsoft's two biggest "lock-in" products for business. It's not in Microsoft's interest to make it easy to use Exchange with anything other than Windows and Outlook.

I managed to use threadbird along with DavMail.
How to download all message to local system so that I can read them offline, similar to creating local PST.
