Hi all, total noob to Ubuntu/Linux here so sorry if this is a silly question.
ive installed V10 server edition and also installed the Xbuntu gui shell.
i'm having trouble with my rack mount monitor/keyboard. a message appears on the screen saying that the current system settings are not set to 1024/768 60hz. and therefor nothing was displayed on the screen.
so i hooked up my old dell monitor, signed into my server and edited the display settings to 1024/768 60hz, then shut down the server, swapped the cables over from one monitor to the next and rebooted - but i get the same message and i cant get passed it.
anyone got any ideas?
thanks
zac
my setup:
Graphics card - GeForce 8400GS
monitor - hp TFT5600 RKM
