Is it possible to install Mint over 10.10? I don't want a dual boot and I don't want to loose any of my current data. Whats the easiest way to do this?
Thanks!

you should have installation like:

with /home in place, you only have to format / to install your new distro

If you havn't got a seperate home folder follow this guide http://www.hackourlife.com/move-home-to-a-new-partition-ubuntu-10-04/
Then you can install mint over your 10.10 install setting tht as mount point / and the home folder as /home + a swap which you should already have.

What command can I run to show you the setup I have now?
