Let me start by stating up front...I'm a rookie! But have been digging how easy it was to load Edubuntu and scrap my Microsoft tom-foolery! Got my kiddos computer up and running with great software and speed. Have a Ubuntu smart co-worker who is a great asset for all minor help I've needed so far.
But, this one has him scratching his nugget...the issue: The machine is a Dell XPS 720. It has lights on the front which formerly changed colors, glowed bright or dim depending on what was on-going in the Microsoft guts. However, it now just stays bright white continuously. Never a dim moment...which is fine, but I would like to have the option to change them as they do get hot.
