I have a 32-bit Zenith-India oem Netbook, Z-Dock, at present with some other linux. I wanted to test ubuntu
and created a bootable usb drive with ubuntu-10.10-netbook-i386 on my other laptop with universal-usb-creator on windows 7. I checked the usb-drive on that laptop and the live version of ubuntu was working fine. When I tried it on the netbook the machine froze at
SYSLINUX xxxxx.
I am curious to know why this difference on a laptop and a netbook.
And of course I shall appreciate receiving an advice.
Thanks.
