I updated through the update manager for my Ubuntu 10.04 lts sever. Now it will not come back up. I am doing this remotely and I am using VNC to go into the desktop. I tried to term in after the update which asked me to reboot to complete the update so I did that.
And now it wont let me connect.
I did the same update on my desktop running the same 10.04 lts ubuntu (Client) not the server, and it came right up.
Any ideas? I saw a linux firware update in hte mix. I am wondering if this makes it do a hard reboot and leaves the server at a login screen? I had the hostng company do a physical reboot on my server and it still will not let me connect.
