Hey backporters, have you ever tried this plugin?
In theory it adds voice and camera features to gaim, which would be great.

Is there any way to get it?

Thanks again for your great job!

It is money-free, in the sense you don't have to pay to install it, but isn't free software.

Gaim-encryption is a plugin that allows to establish and encrypted converstion with someone you're talking to.
This is very useful when the sys-adms want to have a look at what you're saying ;)
In other words, if you use it in your office, you're not the system administrator and you're saying compromising things you better install gaim-encryption ;)

From their site:
Mar 29, 2005 - gaim 1.2.0-vv released. Yahoo receive only. NOT YET BROADCAST CAPABLE! Broadcast is slated for an upcoming release.
Mar 29, 2005 - MSN not supported. THERE IS NO MSN SUPPORT IN THE LATEST VERSION!
Mar 29, 2005 - Win32 port is pending. THERE IS NO WINDOWS SUPPORT IN THE LATEST VERSION!
Mar 29, 2005 - There is no AIM video/voice, iChat AV or video-via-avian-carrier support.

In other words, it's not worth it anymore...

How about PhoneGaim? Anyone tried it?

It's open source, supported by Linspire, and you can find it in the Smimram repository.

Anything happened?

Personally, I just wish that they integrate Ekiga and Pidgin :P
