Hi there,
I recently installed Ubuntu 10.10 and I am using an nVidia 7900GS card with a BNC monitor connection. So of course, the monitor settings can't be detected and Ubuntu only lets me choose 'safe' modes, up to 1024x768.
I tried doing an Xorg -configure but it spews some errors and fails. Is there any way I can just tell Ubuntu to take the kid gloves off and let me choose whatever resolution/refresh combo I want, even if it will damage the monitor?
