I've got an updated how-to on setting up a rails development environment on Ubuntu 10.10. The instructions are for an instance of ubuntu on a virtual box vm, but most applies to a normal setup as well.

I'm going to also have very soon the info on getting the autotest working well once I finish testing it. Just thought I'd share!

The blog link is in my signature, but the direct link to the post is here (http://rubyplusplus.tumblr.com/post/4814722313/ubuntu-10-10-virtual-box-development-environment).

Looks nice and useful. I may need it when I will go deeper in ruby.

If you're not already using it, the RVM stuff is useful right away!
