Well, i've been searching for 3 days.
first off, i'll post my computer's specs:

Anyway, i run LMDE (Linux Mint Debian)
seeing as ubuntu, is a derivative of debian, i was hoping to get some help here.
Basically:
Laptop speakers wont work.
line out works fine though.
I think it's something to do with IDT HD Audio.
Everything else, works 100% Out of the Box.
Also, i've tried the solution in launchpad (think it was posted by Akaname)
That's for version 2.6.35-22
my version 2.6.32-5
And, i already have asla-base 1.0.23+
