HI
I just received my new Dell XPS L702x today and managed to install 10.04 (lucid lynx) on it.
I managed to install the nvidia driver for the laptop, and the graphics works fine.
Unfortunately the sound and wifi does not work.

I would appropriate it very much someone can be of assistance in the matter or point me in some direction.

I really would like Ubuntu to run on the notebook.

Thank You in advance

I read the following thread and the suggested that you must install the linux kernel > 2.6.35 i ended up installing 2.6.38.
The same as ubuntu 11.04 will use.

The Wifi was working after that.

For the sound i upgraded ALSA to 1.0.23, by u sing the following steps.

After executing step 1, the sounded was working.
