View Full Version : [ubuntu] help! MD hardware disk array failure? (bad superblock)

Hey all. This server was working, then after reboot, it's telling me that there's a bad superblock.

I am trying to figure out how I can recover from this. Instead of booting to initramfs or something, it just stops. I was thinking Knoppix would be a good idea, but am unsure if fsck will just fix this issue on an md array.

For the record this is a hardware array, RAID5. I don't believe anything is actually wrong with the drive(s).

Any help would be appreciated.
