I'm running 11.04 B2, on live USB. I used universal USB installer to enable persistent changes. Should I expect any errors if I use it on different hardware? I would think that persistent changes remembers drivers configuration and such, so it would cause some problems. I'm pretty new to the linux scene, I mostly just want java, flash, and a small script to connect to my ssh server to be persistent, everything else I don't really care about.

A persistent install should work on any computer that boots from USB as long as you do not install proprietary drivers, (So will a full install to USB).
