USB recoverable after installation?

Hi, I was going to create a USB boot disk to install Ubuntu, and I was just wondering if the USB drive can still function normally after I use it to install?

Yes, you can just format the USB stick and get rid of the installation files, after the installation is finished.

However, I would recommend that you always have some bootable device ready for safety.
