Hi,
since my upgrade to 11.04 gnome has this (very annoying) drop shadow under every window. I haven't found a way to disable this, i wonder if there is any?
Does someone know how to get rid of the drop shadow effect?
Cheers,
toskala

In 10.10 Compiz can change this. Should work in natty.

That was the first thing I tried.
However disabling shadows in compiz just disabled all shadows except the ones below windows :-k

Just discovered something: when I try setting another shadow opacity in CompizConfig Settings Manager -> Window Decorations the shadow changes as long as the color-chooser is opened. When the new shadow opacity is set the shadow goes back to natty default.

toskala, did you ever figure out how to resolve this issue? I am experiencing the exact same thing. I CANT STAND these annoying massive drop shadows! Totally obnoxious!
