I got frustrated figuring out how to compile as3 in linux, since it was such a struggle for me, when i finally got it i made this guide:

please report any errors, and feel free to try this with newer versions of the Flex SDK for as of now, i dont have the time. I have to prepare for ludum dare this week end (game making competition: http://www.ludumdare.com/compo )
