There was this thought-provoking article in Fast Company magazine:
The Sharing Economy (http://www.fastcompany.com/node/1747551/print)
A Guide to the Shareable Life (http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/155/a-guide-to-the-shareable-life.html) - companion article with a list of websites
The idea sound really attractive. Cut consumption, reduce debt, and lower pollution. On the flip side, gain access to a wider variety of products and services--at little or no cost.
It really got me thinking. The best meals I've eaten, the best places I've stayed in, the happiest times I've had with people--they were all shared experiences. When I think of the times I was saddest, they were almost always when I was alone.
What do you guys think?
