Make a random UUID and update it to system information structure of DMI data.

What does it mean?

This is what is posted on the ASUSTek website for the bios update for my ASUS m2n or m2400n more exactly.

Well I figured out uuidgen which makes random time UUIDs a nice long number. But how do you get it to attach to the M2N0208a.rom file that is the update and then update the to the DMI data

I am sure it is some long Entish command line but since I am not fluent at typing Ent yet an example would be helpful.

My main confusion is from searching update DMI and not finding any references to bios updates.
Thanks

Here is URL for the bios update.
http://support.asus.com/download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=M2N%28NB%29&p=3&s=16&os=8&hashedid=n/a

They have two version one for the DOS utility and the one with above tag with it.

Just a side note the date between the two is over 2 years difference so it is nice to see ASUS providing LINUX support after the fact.
