Hello guys,
Since a couple of weeks I have some trouble when booting and shutting down my laptop (Xubuntu 10.10 with Xfce 4.6.2).
At boot:
- Once I've logged in, the desktop environment takes significantly more time to load.
At shutdown:
- The right button to shutdown the computer (or reboot, suspend, hibernate...) on the upper panel doesn't work anymore. When I click on it, it asks me if I want to "exit Xfce Panel".
- So now to shutdown, I open a terminal and use
sudo shutdown now but it gets stuck during the procedure (and I have to press and hold the power button of my laptop to actually shut it down).
But strangely, there is no problem if I reboot using
sudo shutdown -r now
Does anybody have an idea of what's wrong with my Xfce?
Thanks
