I'm running Lucid with KDE 3.5.11 on a Toshiba Satellite T135-S1309. I have an HP Deskjet F2210 all-in-one which I installed/configured/whatever using HPLIP.

When I try to print black & white pages, e.g. a text file, I usually get about 0.5 to 1 page with black text. Anything I print after that is printed in another color -- could be blue, purple, pink, red, or green -- depending on the day. I've tried asking it to print in grayscale, to no avail. I'm fairly certain it isn't a problem with low ink levels, because I can print in Windows with no issues.

Help!!!

Thanks! :D

Try to set default color black from printer properties.

Try to set default color black from printer properties.

Hmm. I just did that from within HPLIP, and it seems to have worked this time. In the past I've tried to set it from printer properties within kprinter or other print dialogs, with no success.

Thanks for your help.
