Bit of a surprise this one, I'm trying to access data from the just-released World Development Indicators 2006 report and haven't had much luck. Just curious if anyone else can access the data from the World bank here.

So far I haven't been able to display the data correctly. In Firefox 1.08 it comes out all jumbled together.

In 1.5 the data is slightly better but it's all compacted at the top of the screen.

In Opera 9 the data is displayed correctly but there's no way to scroll down past Bolivia. ](*,)

Seems like either my browsers aren't configured properly or the World Bank doesn't like Linux.

Could someone else try to access the data to confirm?

Yeah, I just checked out the link. Having the same problem. Using Epiphany in Dapper.

Can get it to display ok on Opera. Just click the maximize button once or twice and the scroll bar appears.

I think this is caused by it using fonts you may not have... Seen this before quite a lot.

This isn't a OS problem, its a browser problem and it seems it only works on IE. Firefox on Windows had the same problem of the table being too small at the top.

IE table handling has always been so weird... sigh

Right, got it. After quite a bit of cajoling and fiddling with the windows and tabs in Opera, the side scrollbar finally made an appearance. Thanks for that idea Sef.

Ok Linux isn't popular and they don't care about it BUT IT WORKS IN IE ONLY?!?
