How can you create a bootable WindowsXP cd from ubuntu???

Don't believe you can. You need an official Miicrosoft disk with serial codes and all that pissaz.

You can either use the 'Copy Disc' function in most of the disc burners to burn an exactly similar disc or if you've got an ISO Image of the disc, use the 'Burn image to disc' function and the disc would be bootable.

Other than that, I don't think you can successfully burn a bootable disc from a bunch of files and folders...
