What the advantage of having 64 bits when using a wifi application? :biggrin:

I intend to buy a HP ProBook 4520s


Will it be harder to install new software on 64 bits? and does it exist for wifi? :confused:

I am concerned at using 64 bits laptop when installing a wifi application?

Is there enough wifi application for 64 bits and even for 32 bits? :cool:

64 or 32 bit are meaningless relative to your wifi connection. Your data is transferred between devices based on a standard, not on whether you run 32 or 64 bit. That's an internal processing capability of the machine that doesn't have an impact on whether you choose 32 or 64 bit. Nearly all machines produced today are 64 bit capable, but they run just fine using 32 or 64 bit. There are pros and cons to both and you can search for those terms on the forum for tons of discussions about them. I won't state what I prefer because there are many who will claim each is better. Only you can really know for sure, but that machine you listed is quite capable of either.

These days there are few software apps that are not available in 64 bit or capable of running on 64 bit using 32 bit libs.
