Hi folks,

After upgrading from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04 beta, my home PC is taking around 10-15 minutes only to boot. The boot process starts and then immediatley goes blank with only a cursor blinking on top left corner. Here is the configuration:

1. Athlon II x2 7750 BE
2. 780G chipset
3. Radeon HD2600XT GPU

I have tried ot install the proprietary drivers for this OS but is of no use. Please help me out here. Also, am not able to install GNOME 3 test build, Fedora core 13, 14 and 15 alpha.
Regards,
Amar.

This machine should be fast with any Ubuntu.

11.04 is still in development, so expect some bugs. If you nevertheless want to try it, I would go for a clean install of the daily build.
