When I click on the Install button it freezes up and there is no drive activity. The computer is a Pentium 3 1Ghz with 256MB of RAM and a 6GB Hard Drive. Please Help!

Might have run out of RAM. 256mb is awfully low to run a modern desktop OS on.

Try Lubuntu on it, you might fare better.

I also don't have any spare CDs or USB Drives. What can I do?

Nothing much I'm afraid. Could you temporarily repurpose a USB stick that's in use?

I should have put that differently. I don't have any rewritable CDs and I don't own a USB Stick.

Oh. Well, I'm afraid there's not really any other way to go about it without another blank CD to write to. Even net installs need something to load the installer from.

I've heard of something called "Network Boot"?
