I have dual boot os ubuntu10.4 and windows7 .I tried to make new partion on my ubuntu os I got this message -"no free sectors avilable" but space is avilable . any one help me for this issue..

Please do this so we can see the current configuration you disk is in.

Please boot off the LiveCD/LiveUSB, select 'TRY', and then:

You would probably be better off repartitioning from the Ubuntu live CD. Or use a GParted or Parted Magic live CD for this.
