Hi, I work at a record shop in Long Beach, CA. I'm happily replacing Windows with Ubuntu on all of our workstations.

I have successfully gotten a thermal receipt printer installed and the device ends up "mounted" at /dev/usb/lp0 after you plug in the USB cable. This does not happen at startup though, you have to unplug the USB and plug it back in after a reboot. Is there something I can do about this? As simple as this seems, I'm sure chaos will ensue behind the counter every time the computer power cord is tripped over and the printer doesn't magically work after it's started back up :)

Thanks in advance!

PS, the printer is PosX XR510. If anyone out there needs help getting yours to work in ubuntu give me a holler!
