I have Ubuntu minimal installed on a 32GB SSD. I am wanting to clone this disk to a 16GB SSD. I have minimized the partition to 11GB, so including the swap file I have a max of 13GB used. I have tried to use clonezilla but I am not familiar with the software and apparently did something wrong as when I try to boot from the 16GB drive it says image failed. I also booted from a older ubuntu live cd and used gparted to copy the partition to the new drive. Still no success.
Is this possible? Or should I just install Ubuntu on the new drive and start from scratch?
