hi there,

can't find the prism package in natty. what happend to it? is there anything that replaces prism in natty?

i have used prism in combination with the compiz widget layer for certain webpages i had to have on every desktop. was very handy indeed.

thanks

damo

I'm not sure why Prism isn't in the Natty repos - that caught me out too. Unfortunately Prism hasn't yet been updated for Firefox 4, so you can't use Prism-the-Firefox-add-on in Natty either.

However, you can still download the standalone version from http://prism.mozillalabs.com/started/.

Just extract the package to somewhere in your home folder - I usually put the prism folder in one called '.apps' (works out as /home/my-username/.apps/prism). Then make a launcher with the Menu Editor that points to /home/your-username-here/.apps/prism/prism - that will open Prism's web app creator.
