Gnome3 Banner on ubuntu.com

If you go on www.ubuntu.com right now and go to the right one time on the banner, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Although it is great for them to put this up, as gnome really is a big part of what makes ubuntu...ubuntu, it's kinda odd that they put that there now right before they release a version which uses a different interface than gnome3.

Why? Ubuntu is still Gnome based. And will use unity instead of Gnome shell.

apart from some nutters in forums and occasional tensions about the best way to do things, the 'competing' opensource projects get along pretty well.
