I recently switched to Lubuntu as my main operating system, although I keep Ubuntu and Debian as backups. It is fast, but one strange problem that I have had is that when transferring my collection of files from my Ubuntu partition to my Lubuntu partition, the computer locks up. It seems to do it on specific files. Once on a JPG image, and once on a Setup.exe file. If I repeat the exact same command it will lockup at the exact same point in the transfer.
One idea I have is to try to do it from the command line instead of the GUI form of pcmanfm. Has anyone else had this problem?
