I did something stupid

I wanted to try out new Ubuntu 11 and while doing it I managed to connect to facebook, twitter, all my chat accounts and MY EMAIL via Evolution
Everything went well until I restarted and went back to my lovely Karmic to log in into the email account and find all messages GONE!

Yes I know there is a setting in Evolution to keep messages on server... I apparently haven't checked that :(:(

I'm just wondering is there any way to undo what I did? :confused:

have you tries to create a new evolution account with your old mail?

The bad news is that if your messages are gone from the server, then there's not a lot you can do to get them back to the server, other than emailing them back to yourself.

I use IMAP instead of POP3 to access messages on my server, as this preserves the messages on the server until I delete them.
