Gave up waiting for root device..common problems..

check root delay..

“ALERT!!! /dev/disk/by-UUID/7cdd379f-22d8-46c3-a683-113d17307fd7 does not exist”

The boot process stops at “2-120023] usb 3-4: new low speed usb device using ohci-hcd & address 2.” thenit goes to - initramfs – flashing cursor but keyboard inactive, (keyboard is microsoft, wireless)

Keyboard is active during post boot and available during grub menu.

I can boot using grub2 menu to older and present kernels.

Tried gksu gedit /etc/default/grub – to change root delay

Tried numerous other threads on different Ubuntu forums.

Was wondering if it is correct that Kernel is mounted on ext4 but when looking at grub, edit page it has insmod ext2, is this relevant, Have tried to change to ext4 in grub edit menu, then after boot - sudo update-grub, but reverts back to ext2, which might be a good thing as i dont really know what im doing;)

Grub edit page for Kernel.
