I recently got a new hard drive (2TB) and had Windows take up all but 100gb of it, with the 100gb partition to be an Ubuntu boot. I installed 9.10 from a LiveCD just fine but upon upgrading and installing the new GRUB files something went wrong. GRUB wouldn't work period but I managed to get it to work by reinstalling the GRUB files via the LiveCD. Now my problem is that GRUB recognizes the Windows OS partition and boot loader but when I try to boot it, it says "machine not found".
