help finding info on a painting

hi all i have a oil painting that i bought about 15 years ago
called cumbria farm by M MEYER. and i cant find any info on M MEYER any were. i was wondering if anybody has heard of the painter and if they know when it was painted

I tried using Google Goggles on my DroidX, but there were too many screen artifacts from taking a picture of the monitor to get an accurate picture. If you have an Android phone and can revisit the photo or can print it out in color and scan it in that way with Google Goggles you might have some luck there.

Take a highres image with a proper camera that is in focus and upload it somewhere.
