View Full Version : How must be suitable partition to install Unix FreeBSD

Hello ,
I am going to install unix FreeBSD But someone told me you must installed it on primary partition .
however i have Win 7 installed on laptop , others partition are logic so is it possible to create or change one unused partition as primary

I think the limit is on any hdd is 4 primary partitions. So you should be able to convert one of your spare extended/logical partitions to a primary one.
