I ran into a situation tonight and after checking custom filters & the tools available for creating them I was unable to find a method of locating installed programs and libraries based on install date/time.
I was trying to compile some code and downloaded various development tools that I no longer need to keep on my machine.
So the questions are:
1. Am I overlooking the obvious?
2. Is this a feature that others would find useful?
3. Is anyone here familiar enough with the synaptic source to know if implementing this feature is even possible without a rework of the entire code?
